“How much is registration?”
Cost varies based on where and when you register. See the registration details page for more information.

“Where can I register?”
Advance registration is only available online. In-store coupons or online discount options available.  Day of registration is available onsite.  See the registration details page for more info.

“I didn’t get an emailed receipt when I registered online, am I registered?”
Maybe not. Please call us at 503-459-4508 to confirm. All registrants should receive an emailed electronic receipt for online registration, but it is possible your e-mail address was entered incorrectly or the receipt was filtered out by your spam settings.

Do I need to check in for the run?”
Yes, all runners must be registered to participate and when you check in for the run you will receive your runner number, which is proof of registration. This also contains your soup ticket and baggage claim ticket. You will access service, perks and aid stations with your runner number. It is a number you need to wear and have with you at all times.

Are kids allowed?”
Yes! Children are allowed on the run. All runners under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is also running. All participants must be registered.

“Are dogs allowed?”
No dogs are allowed on the run for liability reasons.

“Are walkers allowed?”
Yes! Walkers are welcomed. We will have walkers start together behind the runners. Registration is the same process for walkers and runners.

“Are strollers allowed?”
No.  The terrain is unpaved and has some elevation change, so for safety  reasons we can not allow strollers on course.

“How do I get my runner materials?”
You may pick up your runner number and maps at the event start. See the schedule for details.



“How will I know where to go?”
See the course details page for a map of the run. This is only an overview map and is subject to minor adjustments. We will also have an oversize map at the start line for you to review.

“How is the course marked?”
We use a combination of markings, signs, and large arrows. Volunteers will be located at critical turns to help direct you.

“Is the course wheelchair accessible?”
No.  The terrain is unpaved and has some elevation change, so for safety reasons we can not allow wheelchairs on course.

“Is the run timed?”
The Worst Day of the Year Run is definitely a FUN run, but we will have chip-timing for immediate and accurate results.

“Are there wave starts?”
Yes, runners will self seed into the following start categories which will be released in waves: sub 8 minutes, 8-10 minutes, 10 minutes and above, walkers.
